Customisation cookie banner problem

Hello ,
I am trying to customise my cookie banner. I have already customised it once and it was working but now it came back to default settings.
Even if i try to save the customised settings they do not show on the front end

When you visit the front-end of your site, you will see the following message reported in the browser console:
Fallback default css file used. Please re-save banner settings, or check file writing permissions in uploads directory
Please check the folder permissions of the
/uploads/folder on your environment, and re-save banner settings once after correcting these: https://complianz.io/folder-permissions/Kind regards, Jarno

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I do not see the following message but when I go to
/uploads/I can see the permissions are correctly set > 755.
Do you know what I could do to fix the problem?

Do you see any errors when you enable a plugin such as WP Debugging and re-save the Complianz banner settings in the back-end? If so, could you share them here?

In any case, the attached logs don’t seem to contain any errors that pertain to the Complianz plugin. If you’re certain that the file/folder permissions are correct (https://complianz.io/folder-permissions/), but you still keep experiencing this behavior:
I’d say that it might be worth checking whether the issue persists with Complianz as the only activated plugin on the site & with a default WP theme, such as one of the Twenty Twenty- themes.

It has been a couple of months and I am still not able to modify the appearance of the cookie banner.
Can you please give me any ideas what I can do to fix that.
