Customise Blog Post Display

    Hi, I have created a ‘Blog’ page to display my recent posts. I plan on having around 6 of my most recent posts displayed. I have played around with the ‘Blog Posts’ Content Element but have found it is very limited.

    I want to be able to have an excerpt below the post image, remove the author, comment counter and categories. I don’t believe the standard blog posts element has these options so would be grateful if someone could help me to do the above.

    Alos, due to having multiple posts pulled onto this page, I would like the option to be able to offset/skip certain posts.

    My WordPress skills are limited, I have tried multiple plugins but none of them seem to give me all of the options I need.

    This would all be controlled by your theme. What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

    I am using Enfold.

    I have noticed that one of my blog posts contains the excerpt by no others do which seems a bit odd. For the one that is working it is picking up a random line of text from the post.

    Do you have any suggestions for me to try?
