Customize event options admin panel

Hi,
is there any way of customizing the event options in the “Create new event” admin panel? I am not using segments and maps, so it would be great to hide these inputs.

Hello @arneskeie,

Yes, we have added checkbox against each option to show or hide the event options on the front end. We are also sharing a screenshot URL for your easiness.

Hi, thank you for your quick answer, and for the screenshot!

However, I want to clean up the admin area to make it easier for other editors to find/use the correct inputs. So I would like to access the .php file for the admin setup to completely remove the “segments” input, and also a couple of other changes. But I can’t seem to find the file for doing these changes.

Could you clue me in on which file(s) I can edit to make changes in the admin layout?

Hello arneskeie,

You can modify the following file:
simple-event-planner/includes/meta-boxes/class-simple-event-planner-meta-box-event-options.php

Please also keep in mind your changes will be lost on plugin update if you will modify in the plugin core files directly.
