Customize homepage

    Good morning team,

    I use your beautiful theme to show a blog in the homepage. Now I´d like to create more value in the home showing a static page with more content than just the blog. Do you have some kind of documentation or blocks to do that? I have searched in your lyra web with no success.

    Hi @srtajpg,

    Thanks for your kind words!

    In the free version there are a few options for adding more content, either using the Highlight Post area or including Featured Pages…or like you mentioned, you could also go to Pages > Add New and create a page with any content you like, and change the WordPress settings under Settings > Reading to display this static page instead of the blog feed.

    Thanks. I managed to include pages and posts with a third party plugin, so it will do for now.

    Can you please tell me where we can customize the next / previous post text that shows at the bottom of the homepage when the blog feed is the homepage? Have a nice day.

    Nice! Glad you were able to come up with a solution for that.

    The next/previous posts text can be changed with most translation plugins (Loco Translate, etc.), or if you’re using a child theme, you can copy feed.php to your child folder and modify the text on lines 51-52. Let us know if you have any trouble with either option!
