    My Customize will not load. It says it’s loading and then never actually loads. Is anyone else having this problem?

    I am working on a staging site using Neve and I cannot access Customize. It worked a few weeks ago without issue but is now giving me issues. It will say it’s loading and not load.

    I have tried accessing Customize on three separate computers and using different browsers. This has not helped resolve the issue.

    I only have one plug in for this template and it’s up to date. The template is also up to date. I’m wondering if this is a bigger issue beyond my staging site? Any thoughts appreciated.

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

    This issue doesn’t occur on our test instances, so it may occur due to a plugin conflict on your end. Please backup your site, deactivate the plugin you are using, as you mentioned you only use one plugin, and check if it helps. If the issue persists, please tell us which one is that plugin you are using so we can test it on our end.

    Hi @luciamarinescu !

    Thank you! I deactivated the plug in and it did not resolve the issue. I don’t know what to try next that may help.

    Would the issue be related to it being a staging site? It’s so odd. I had no issues earlier int he week when I was using the customizer.

    Hi @cordermjk!

    Thanks for checking! The fact that it is a staging site should not have any impact on any of the functionalities. Does the issue still occur after the latest update of the theme (version 3.1.5)? If it still occurs, could you please tell us which plugin do you use so we can test it on our end?

    Hello, @luciamarinescu,

    Thanks for the information! We were on the most updated template. We also had only one plugin that was required by the template.

    I called GoDaddy regarding the issue twice – thinking it was a plug in issue. They were able to help with understanding that the issue wasn’t happening with a new template when we tested one out. I also was not able to contact anyone directly at Neve outside of this forum.

    I tested out the issue with other templates and was able to access the customizer. Truthfully, I didn’t have the capacity or skill set to troubleshoot the issue further.

    We made the decision to go with another template that did not have this issue with the customizer.

    I really appreciate your message and that you tried to help us figure this out.

    Thanks for the update! I’m sorry to hear you switched to another theme, but thank you for giving Neve a try! If you’ll come back to Neve in the future, we always try to assist our users with the issues they encounter and to help troubleshoot and solve them, so they will enjoy Neve at it’s full potential, regardless of their technical skills.
