'Customize' page not working

    I had to do a manual update of wordpress the other day because Make seems to give me issues with updating WordPress and a couple of plugins (e.g. WP SlimStat). I noticed afterwards that the background colour on the site (www.rosewoods.co.uk) had changed from black to grey. I went to the ‘Customize’ page under ‘Appearance’ but the page just loads to a blank grey page (screenshot here: http://imgur.com/IKnbmfG). In the tab title it says it’s loading but I get nothing. Any ideas how I can get the customizer back to I can put the site back the way it was?

    Hi there,

    Sorry you’re experiencing this issue. Sounds like a plugin incompatibility. I would start by deactivating all your plugins to see if the issue persists, and then adding them back one at a time to find the culprit.

    Just tried that but still didn’t work even with all of the plugins deactivated.

    Same here.

    Just updated to latest version of Make and both Make & Child Theme customize is not not working. Deactivated all plugins and still not working

    On checking further there is indeed a problem plugin, Make Plus!

    Didn’t realize there was an update to Make Plus, installed 1.5.0 and all is sweet!

    Hey eckh20, sorry I didn’t realize I was responding to another user!!

    There has been a new version of Make released. If you update your theme does the issue persist?

    I’m not using a fresh install of WordPress and Make (not plus). They are both up to date (no plug-ins installed). I’m having the same issue. I get a white screen on the Customise and Background pages.

    I just did a fresh install of wordpress, database, and make. Still the same problems. I was so ready to upgrade to Make Plus yesterday…now having doubts.

    Hi folks,

    I haven’t been able to replicate this issue thus far. If you can give me more info about your setup, that would be helpful. Specifically:

    * Version of WordPress you’re using
    * Version of Make you’re using
    * Which browser you’re using
    * Version of PHP your web server has

    One easy way to gather all this info and send it to us is to use the Send System Info plugin and send via email to info [at] thethemefoundry.com

    My wordpress and Theme were up to date…but not the PHP. Updating the PHP seemed to do the trick. Thanks.

    To be honest I never looked, just updated to 5.1.
