Hey @lwd2020
We’ve never heard of such thing happen. Would you be able to provide some screenshots (or even better, a video recording), since the backend isn’t accessible by us?
Thanks
Hey Eduard, thanks for your response. I have got 2 screenshots; trying to figure how to upload.
Alright @lwd2020
That’s a PHP error happening on your website. This can happen for multiple reasons, from third party plugins to an incorrect configuration of the server.
I have a few options you can try.
1. Try changing the page template to the “Default” one, since you’re not using that at the moment.
2. Try deactivating all of your third party plugins, then reactivate them one by one and see when the problem pops up.
3. If all of this fails, you will need to enable WP Debug and Debug display to see where this error is coming from exactly — you will need to send us the screenshots of the whole stack trace. You can learn how to enable debug here — https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/
Hope this points you in the right direction.
Thanks
Alright, thanks, I’ll try those and let you know.
One quick question, isn’t there supposed to be another way to get to the customizing area for the theme?
Hello @lwd2020
No, the normal WordPress customiser has been enhanced with Blocksy’s touch. That is the only way to get to the customiser.
Please try the steps above and report back. We definitely want to get this fixed.
Thanks
Thanks. Do I uninstall Brizy as well?
#1 (of 3 possible solutions) does not work.
Moving onto #2
@lwd2020
No you do not need to uninstall them. Deactivation is sufficient.
Everything has changed. I can’t even find the customizing link again. I’m trying to find it
Hey @lwd2020
The Customiser is available from Appearance -> Customise 🙂
What has changed, what have you done exactly?
Okay, I found it there now. It wasn’t there initially (before the deactivation).
What I’ve done is your recommendation for #2. I’ve deactivated the plugins that I had installed and I’m trying to activate them back one by one – thus far I’ve reactivated only one – Brizy.
And does the issue still happen?
No, it does not. I am able to go into the settings now. Thanks. I’ll delve into it and see how this goes.
