Customize this form widget does not work

I just updated to version 2.1.3 and… I wish I could go back.

Among the many and unceasing pains in my neck associated with this upgrade, I cannot customize forms.

I select “Yes” in the “Customize this form widget”. Nothing changes. I save the form. I refresh. I log into my site in an incognito tab. I refresh refresh refresh refresh refresh. Nothing. I cannot assign a role or customize my forms in any way.

I also am unable to make a form using more than one column.

So… How do I make my site functional again??
