Customizing a specific post layout

I am trying to customize the layout for just one specific post on my blog, not the entire blog. Every time I click on “customize” and I make the needed edits (removing some widget content), the changes affect all the posts on the entire blog. I just want to change one specific post layout, not the entire blog layout. Can you please help? Thank you.
