Are you saying you can’t delete the customizr directory from the server or that after you succesfully delete it nothing changes?
yes. It says is will not delete, but i was able to delete other themes.
I am unable to delete the theme from the directory.
I had to call the tech support for yahoo earlier today. he was able to get it off, and said there was a corrupt file that kept it from being deleted. I went to wordpress and saw the customizr theme just a bigt ago. and clicked
preview, i should have not done that 🙁 it all went white again.
i am gone for a few hours, but will check posts when i get home.

It’s just a dir. How did you install it? Permissions problems? What did it says? Can’t you delete anything from that dir, e-g just the style.css?
Anyway don’t think is a customizr related issue, just upgraded to the latest wordpress version and didn’t have problems of any sort.
Said so, go into wp-options table of your db, find these two options:
“template”
“stylesheet”
and to both assign “twentyfourteen” (without double quotes, of course).
edit:
just read your reply, so corrupt file. Your downloaded file is corrupted someway.. or is a server problem.
I installed through wordpress.
went to themes, to install tab, and installed.
there were no permission problems.

when you say to assign, does that mean to re-name the
file?

Google for “change theme wordpress database”, and try..
I am not really comfortable with that option. so i was able to delete with my ftp.

and you were right, it is not the theme customizr,
i just tried to upload another theme, from my
wordpress – appearance-theme, and it whited out again.
Do you think I should delete the whole wordpress folder
and start over again?

You can also remove wordpress directory but those sub-directories will not be removed.. so what would be the sense?
thanks for your assistance. I did deactivate the account, created a new sub-directory, activated the wordpress account,(all done in my server) and it worked very briefly. then my site first went to the 500 html error, and then went to white out. I will contact my server tomorrow, as it seems to be on their end.
