cycle slideshow which allows captions

can someone post a way to allow captions in cycle slideshow that works with the current version of nextcellent? i had one but since upgrading it broke it …the hack was overwritten by the new plugin files ….this is such a basic feature does anyone know a way to do it? thanks!
