Hello Kingstakh,
I’m aware that special caracter will make the plugin to break.
Can you give an example of the name of the file please ?
Thanks.
now I disable plugin, but if filename have only latin characters and/or digits – work fine. If have cyrillic character, image not show. For example cyrillic filename “городище-L.jpg”. If you need can short time enable plugin.
I found solution for me. Plugin Filenames to latin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/filenames-to-latin/. All uploaded media with cyrillic characters aumatically converts to latin )))
New issue. File name like “1916-Lesnaja-Weißrussland-Polen-deut.Landsturmsoldat-auf-Dorfstrasse2.Landsturmsoldat-auf-Dorfstrasse.jpg” have trouble to
I guess this is because of this caracter: ß
Also using multiple dots in a single filename is a way to trigger more bugs.
Even if it works in most cases, it is recommended to keep filenames clean and without special caracters. Here is a guideline that seems to be accurate:
file naming convention.
Anyway I will check how to fix this issue. Thanks for your feedbacks 🙂
