Daily quote – with comments

I’m running a training site which has a news blog and I would also like to have a ‘Daily Nugget’, a quote from someone that changes each day.

I know there are plugins that do this but as the purpose of the site is training I want to be able to add a comment section to each ‘nugget’ and none of the plugins offer this.

My thought was to create a page or post for each ‘nugget’, formatted as needed and with the training comment and just have the page displayed change each day to the next in the sequence.

Any thoughts on how to do this?
