Dark Screen when trying to install or edit Plugins

Hi Guys,

I’m new to WordPress so please bear with me.

When trying to install plugins if I click the plugin name I am greeted with almost a lightbox effect over the screen where I cannot click any of the links on the plugins popup box?

I can provide screenshots of what I am greeted with if needed. I’ve tried to find similar issues in the forum but cannot seem to find anything so apologies if this has been covered and I’ve missed it….
