Starting sometime yesterday, most of the dashboard of my WP 1.5.2 blog stopped displaying. The same thing happened to my partner’s 1.5.x blog, but not to my WP 2.0.1 blog.

I tried turning off my Dashboard-X plugin, but the problem remains. I get the tabs at the top of the page, the sidebar, and the div that goes around the dashboard main content, but no content. Looking at the source code, it appears to be crapping out partway through the sidebar just after reporting the Blog Stats.

    Any clues?

I just checked my dashboard again and it was working! But then I re-activated the X-Dashboard plug-in it went back to broken. I turned off the plug-in and it’s still broken. WTF!

Yes, I see that a 1.5.2 blog is not showing the dashboard so I’d guess something is wrong with the Dev blog feed.

The whole reason I use X-Dashboard is so I can turn that feed off, so that wouldn’t explain it for me.

My 1.5.2 Dashboard seems to be working now!

Mine is working now as well. Weird. I didn’t realize that WP functioning on my server was dependent on external resources. Not sure if I like that.
