Dashboard lag and various dashboard errors

    Im having a number of problems with my wp dashboard. For starter’s im experiencing some serious lag when navigating and especially when trying to create a new post.

    When i click add new post the page will open but it will just appear to keep loading meaning i cant click the media buttons, the status, visibility or publish edit buttons. I also cant add tags till its finished loading.
    Sometimes it will only take a few minutes to load but other times it just loads forever.
    I can write the post but i just cant click any of these buttons till its finished loading.

    Another issue i am having is a bit random but every now and then when i try and load a page like preview, save draft or other buttons like clicking my plugins a page will load and appear to keep loading while nothing but the dashboard sidebar is on the page with a whitespace where the page content would normally be.

    I really cant figure out what’s causing this as everything seemed to be working a few days ago. Ive disabled all plugins but to no avail.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Ok ive tried all 3 and still no luck or improvement

    Try re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress. also, if you have access to your server’s error logs, check them in case they give some clues as to the root cause of the problem.

    Cheers ill give that ago tomorrow. I just looked in the error logs and there seem to be quite a few listed however im really not sure what they mean

    Will any settings be changed if i upload fresh wp-admin and wp-includes folders

    No – you’ll be fine. All of your content is stored in your database with uploads/themes/plugins stored in the wp-content folder.

    Ok i just tried that and still nothing
