Dashboard link issue
-
I really like the look of your plugin. I have been testing it out on a couple of sites but I have one major issue which stops me using it or encouraging my clients to use it.
When the plugin is activated:
1) In the admin area Dashboard is added under visit site. Why is this necessary? This confuses many newbies and I cannot see the benefit of having this where we already have Analitify menu in top bar. Also using the term Dashboard is confusing, as this is already used by WordPress core.2) This is of more concern. When you activate the plugin, it overtakes the standard WordPress dashboard link (removing the WordPress link to the admin Dashboard) on the front of the site (where widgets, menus etc… are located on top left)
I don’t understand why the plugin overtakes this core WordPress link.
I also find it confuses non-WordPress techies.
Can you please consider removing this as I do not think it is necessary, and has stopped me using and installing your plugin on all client sites.
I hope you consider my suggestion, as this is a powerful tool of real benefit for non-techies.
Thanks
