Yeah got it now.
Its actually our mistake. We have a option in WCfM settings to hide Ultimate notices.
But unfortunately that can not hide that.
We have already fix that and will be part of our next update.
If you really want it now then we are happy to share you updated copy of WCfM now.
Please share your thoughts ..

Could you also advise, cannot seem to have a download product from the frontend.

Downloadable / Virtual Products are already part of WCfM but you will have those options by installing WCfM Ultimate version.

I have a problem though with “download” products
Tested on your test site for frontend using the link for ultimate and wcvendor
however there is no download option for anything other than “simple product”
simple product only has a download option

Actually WooCommerce works in such a way.
If you check wp-admin add prodct page, you will experience the same.
I am also explaning why this:
1. For simple product you can define that as Downloadable so it has the option
2. For variable product you will get downloadable option under each variation
3. External and Grouped product can not be defind as Downloadable
