How do I permanently get rid of the reminder on my dashboard that my site is not connected with Broken Link Checker? I’m totally aware of that.

    Hi @chipur ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

That reminder shows up because the Broken Link Checker plugin is active but hasn’t been connected to your account yet. The plugin needs to be connected in order to work — otherwise it can’t scan or report broken links.

If you plan to use it, I recommend connecting your site so you can take advantage of its features. If you don’t want to use Broken Link Checker, the best way to permanently remove the reminder is to deactivate the plugin.

Without connecting, keeping the plugin active doesn’t really serve any purpose.

Hope this clears it up! Please let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be more than happy to help you.

Understood. The whole issue was, I don’t recall installing it—seemed to come out of nowhere. Thank you.
