Dashboard updates screen doesn’t exist

    Hi,

    Dashboard updates button redirects to a page that says this page doesn’t seem to exist.

    Can anyone help with any suggestions on what the issue might be and how to fix it.

    The Updates admin menu item should be taking you to wp-admin/update-core.php. Ensure this is what’s trying to be done.

    Via FTP or your hosting file manager, verify wp-admin/update-core.php actually exists and has appropriate permissions. Usually 644, but sometimes 664. Also look for any .htaccess files in root installation or /wp-admin/ that might have a directive restricting access.

    @bcworkz thank you for your reply. The issue is now fixed. We had malware, Dashboard working fine now after clean up.
