Hello, just started seeing this on Site Kit and not sure how to fix it.

“User does not have sufficient permission for site ‘https://trashcanteacher.com/’.”

I am the sole owner and user of my site, so I’m not sure why this happened or what causes it. Can anyone help?

    Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out, hopefully we can assist. This notice can occur in various situations, including but not limited to situations when whereby Site Kit was migrated while connected on another domain, mixed content issues with the connected site or with changes on Search Console level.

In your case I noticed that your non secure (http) site is accessible. Can you try and ensure all non secure traffic is redirected so your site is fully https, before then disconnecting Site Kit and checking once more? All services will remain connected after reconnecting once more.

If the issue remains please check this Search Console link, from the Google account which you used to setup Site Kit. From there share the verification method and the status you see.

If you need help with the above let me know. You may be able to ensure your site is fully https by checking your Site Health status.

@bastable As we haven’t received a response, I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!
