Since a couple of days I get red banners in Site Kit telling me there are data errors in Analytics, Search Console and Adsense. Site Health is ok. I did not update anything or install new plugins. I ran the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin but the banners keep showing. Any ideas?

    Hi @uri4u,

Thanks for reaching out. When you mention you’re encountering data errors can you share a screenshot of these errors using a service such as Imgur or JumpShare? Alternatively if you want to share the full error message you encounter we’d be happy to assist.

If the error you’re encountering is a “The response is not a valid JSON response.” please share your Site Health information along with any errors or warnings when checking your Site Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status). We can then advise on this further.

Many thanks for sharing the screenshots of what you’re encountering. As there was no additional messaging output please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. When checking the Site Kit dashboard from a Chrome browser incognito window do you see any browser console errors on the Site Kit dashboard? If so please share any such errors.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. The above information can help determine a browser related block while also enabling us to be able to review your site for any possible third party related causes.

I openend Site Kit in a Google Chrome igognito window and there all data is displayed. No errors!

    Hi @uri4u,

Many thanks for the update. If the data is appearing in a Chrome browser incognito window then this indicates a possible browser extension of feature causing this error. What browser are you using, and did you try to clear your browsers cache?

    Hi James,

Yes, installing a fresh update and clearing cache memory did the trick. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Uri,

Glad to hear it! If you run into any further errors be sure to get in touch. If you’ve been a Site Kit user for some time be sure to share your thoughts on the plugin in the form of a review.
