    Hello I have added the plugin, but its been over 24 hours and LIVE traffic showing.

    I have previously had google analytics running on my site but over last few months by placing tracking code into worpress manually but now stopped working unsure why?

    So I have installed this plugin. It shows previous data but same error as before not showing any realtime visits or updating data.

    I have ran a test and google can see my site using robots.txt Tester

    please help?.

  • Hey @aimxi ,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Based on the inspection at your site it seems Google Analytics snippet is not placed properly or manipulating by third party plugins.

    <script type='text/javascript' src='https://www.begins.com.au/wp-content/litespeed/localres/www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=UA-178125328-1' id='google_gtagjs-js' async></script> <script type='text/javascript' id='google_gtagjs-js-after'>window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || [];function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);}
    gtag("js", new Date());
    gtag("set", "developer_id.dZTNiMT", true);
    gtag("config", "UA-178125328-1", {"anonymize_ip":true});</script>
    <script type="lazyload_ext">window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || [];
      function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);}
      gtag('js', new Date());

      gtag('config', 'UA-178125328-1');</script>

    Hello I have added the plugin, but its been over 24 hours and LIVE traffic showing.

    Right now we don’t have such functionality in the dashboard that can show Real-time traffic but yes it shows up the normal Analytics traffic.

    It seems you need to reconnect the Analytics module as GA is not installed properly.

    There are two ways to install the Analytics:

    1. You can remove the already added manual snippet & connect through Site Kit. For this you need to reconnect Analytics module(Site Kit > Settings > Connect More Services) to make sure its connected accurately with the Analytics service. Then check again later after sometime for stats as it takes time to collect data.

    2. Or you need to fix the code that is placed manually & Site Kit will recognize this snippet & start collecting data once visitors stared landing on the website.

    Hello It is connected via the plugin, I did reset and shows connected but still no data is showing.
    Search Console
    Connected
    Even when I do a test on the google analytics via send bot does not show anything on that either.

    Thanks for getting back to us.

    As for the Analytics it can take a few days before your Analytics data populates within the plugin after connecting the Analytics module. This is likely why you’re seeing this notice.

    @aimxi Checking in here – are you able to see Analytics data in your Site Kit Dashboard now?

    @aimxi As we haven’t received a response, I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!
