Data stopped working in GA

    Hi,
    Enhanced e-commerce plugin was working for months until last week? Not sure what’s happened but no data since the 5 March has pulled through to GA.

    Hi @ozkate,

    You have implemented old GA tracking (UA script) method in your store manually. You just need to replace it with new GA tracking script (gtag.js) since we are using new implementation now or enable the option “add global site tracking method (gtag.js)” from the settings of our plugin.

    Additionally, you are using the custom theme & we have clearly mentioned in the description of our plugin that the free version of our plugin is not fully compatible with the child/custom theme.

    In the premium version of our plugin, we are still using GA tracking with GTM so if you want to continue with GA + GTM implementation kindy go through it.

    Thank you very much.

    I have enabled the option “add global site tracking method (gtag.js)” from the settings of the plugin, but I can’t work out from your instructions above if I need to delete the old tracking script as well? Can you confirm as it still doesn’t seem to be working.

    I’m confident it doesn’t have anything to do with the theme because it was working 2 weeks ago and that theme has been running for over 6 months with no issues.

    Hi Kate,

    We did a quick look of your store & found that our plugin is working well on your store up to checkout page. However, we are unable to test the “Thank you” page of your store due to payment method.

    Additionally, we would like to learn from you if Autoreturn for the payment methods (Paypal & Card Payment) is configured properly?

    If a user completes the transaction via a 3rd party payment gateway and is not redirected back to your store’s thank you page, our plugin will not be able to send the transaction data.

    Also, share the view level access of your analytics account at analytics2(at)tatvic(dot)com so we can verify the same for you.
