Database Connection Error! Access denied for user

I’ve used URIS happily for years. Today, I logged in, and got the error message:

Database Connection Error! Access denied for user…

After the first 2 inches of the page, the rest of the page showed up correctly (see the 1st screenshot).

When I deactivated the plugin, the site loaded correctly (see 2nd screenshot).

It’s the same on Chrome and Firefox. I had a friend check on his laptop – same problem.

For now, obviously, I’ll be keeping URIS deactivated. I’m looking for how to fix the problem.

Any thoughts?
