Database Encryption

    A client of mine is asking if his WordPress database is encrypted – I believe that by default WordPress’ database isn’t encrypted, save for the user passwords.

    But I don’t know all that much about databases, encryption, etc.

    Any info on this would be much appreciated.

    databases are not encrypted.

    tables within databases are not encrypted.

    content within tables within databases are not encrypted — except for passwords which are md5 hashed.
