Database error

    Hi all,

    Recently upgraded to WP 2.6 and now get this message when trying to access my site (http://www.footballingworld.com):

    Error establishing a database connection

    This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    Can anyone assist me?

    Did you remember to edit wp-config.php after the upgrade?

    Actually you wouldn’t have to edit wp-config at all unless you were upgrading from a version that didn’t use the secret keys and if you DID edit it you’d do it BEFORE you upgraded, not after. Perhaps what Ogre was trying to say is: Did you enter the correct info in the config file or upload the old one?
