Database Error
-
Hi,
I’d like to start this by saying I’m doing an internship, and this is my first official website migration using Duplicator. I am no expert.
I’ve been trying to use Duplicator to migrate a website on a host. I get all green lights up until step 3, where I get “WARNING: DATABASE ERROR: database error write”,
and a bunch of row count mismatch errors.DATABASE: table "wp_usermeta" row count mismatch; expected "493" in database"0" DATABASE: table "wp_users" row count mismatch; expected "22" in database"0" DATABASE: table "wp_wonderplugin_carousel" row count mismatch; expected "1" in database"0" DATABASE: table "wp_wp_topbar_data" row count mismatch; expected "1" in database"0" DATABASE: table "wp_yoast_seo_links" row count mismatch; expected "4" in database"0" DATABASE: table "wp_yoast_seo_meta" row count mismatch; expected "61" in database"0"It cuts off there. I tried proceeding to step 4, and I see that the database has had 500+ critical errors. However, weirdly most of the site functionalities work, articles, pages, menus and most plugins.
As seen above, it seems the user database has failed to transfer, and I could not access the account I was using on my localserver. The only way I could access the site’s dashboard was with a fresh re-install and adding a new account through the installation.
How do I avoid this?
