Database Error

    I am having the same issue. What is happening? This is for a non-profit and we post daily. Please advise how to fix this issue or if it is something WordPress is working on?

    This error (in both cases…) means that the database connection settings in your sites wp-config.php file are incorrect. You will need ot get the right settings and edit the wp-config file to contain the correct settings.

    but how do I get there if I cannot access the site?

    You don’t access that file through the site. You need to use an FTP program to do it. There’s more information about that here.
