Database error at stage 2/4

    I am trying to migrate a website from one local intranet server to another. This plugin works fine until I open my wp-config file to see what the database name and account+ password are. However when I copy it and do “Test Database” the host and database fail. I am obviously missing an important step but I cant seem to figure it out. Any help would be appriciated, Thanks.

    Don’t worry was a really stupid mistake. I had gone under the assumtion that the database was already there but I just remembered I had never migrated a site to this particular server so just had to install the database….

    Setup: Duplicator v.1.2.52, free licence. I am trying to create a new package on the remote host w/o success. Hitting the ‘Create button’ freezes the process ie no notification (Steps, etc.) appear. The same plugin version works fine on my local machine. Also, previous versions worked w/o problems on the remote host.

    I uninstalled/reinstalled the plugin and disabled a number of other plugins (AutoOptimizer, WordFence Security, etc) to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
