• This has been going on for quite some time and I cannot figure out what is causing the problem. We are running WordPress from an Amazon EC2 instance and everything works great. Once there are more than one person logged into the Dashboard, however, connection problems start up until the site crashes and I need to reboot the database. This is not an issue if only one person is working. I really have no idea where to even start. Can anyone point me in the right direction or offer some preliminary suggestions? Thank you.

Talk to your hosting company as they are the only ones that can do anything about issues like this.

    Meanwhile, try:
    – deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
