    Hi,

I still have all the files in CP file manager but I accidently deleted the database to one of my WordPress sites.

    Is there a solution?

    Thanks!

    Do you have a backup?

Not unless host has one, they may have sterndata.

I am going to submit a ticket to host.

    Thanks!

So after you rebuild your site, you’ll have learned the painful lesson 🙂 and 🙁

Install a backup plugin and set it to run on a regular basis.

Well, as well as that backup I could have/should have done what I normally do before updating the site auto and grabbed the XML file in settings. That way I could have created a new Instance of that site then got the XML and hey presto..

Tearful voice; why did’nt I do that today, so out of character Sterndata.

Thanks again, and for the advice.

When you do install a backup plugin, ensure it’s set to make automatic regular full backups (all data, all files).

    Thanks Jason, will do.
