Do you have a backup you can revert to?

Yes. I went through my hosting company. It was not straightforward as the two most recent backups were corrupt. My hosting company thought the root of the problem was most likely a conflict between plugins. Four were updated before this happened and a week ago we had problems with another plugin that stopped Elementor working.

The plugins that may well have been the cause are:
    1. Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE)
    2. Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler
    3. Fluent Forms
    4. Fluent Forms Pro Add On Pack

This issue is now fixed but not sure yet which plugin is the culprit.

Well at least it’s fixed. No need to continue debugging. However, if one of those apps is way way outdated, you can blame it on that one.

I always update all plugins within a day or two of a new release. That is what is so frustrating. But your right we can now get the news published again and that makes a lot of people happy.
