Database Table Type InnoDB not supported?

    This is not really a support problem, as I’m not actively using the plugin, although I gave it a try, but…
    The FAQ states that this plugin does not support InnoDB database table types. That seems a bit out-of-date development because as of ver. 5.5 of MySQL, the default table type is InnoDB, which a lot of recent WP databases are using now. I’ve checked all the db tables on sites I’ve created recently, and all of them have table type set to InnoDB. All that being said, when I did run the plugin for the first time, it did clean things up without adversely affecting the site. Just wondering why full support for InnoDB is still not there.
