Hello, I have a question. I have two plugins on my website:

    1 – WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache
    2 – Database

Both have the function of optimizing database tables; I would like someone to tell me if they really do the same thing, or if the functions, despite being tables optimization, operate differently.

    Thankful,

    Irina

WP Optimize runs the SQL query "OPTIMIZE TABLE $table_name;" to do so. It also does something about orphaned data and tables, but I’m not sure what. I’m unfamiliar with a “Database” plugin. In any case, I recommend asking in the dedicated plugin forums for each plugin where the devs and expert users there are in the best place to accurately answer your question.

@bcworkz Hallo! Thank you for your help. I’ll do that, post the question in the dedicated plugin foruns, so I have a better accurately answear, because it looks like they do the same.
