Database update required

    Hello..

    I use updraftplus to backup several sites, 2 days ago something wrong happened to the server and it affected some of my websites..

    I decided to restore some backups.. So here’s what I did:
    I completely removed WordPress and reinstalled the latest version of wordpress
    then i installed updraftplus plugin, uploaded backup files.

    Restore Process done successfully, then wordpress logged me out
    and when i logged back in i got this message https://imgur.com/Lmdn92Q

    Is that normal? what should i do?

    Was your backup from an earlier version of WordPress? That’s what happens in that case, because it’s as if you just upgraded WordPress since the backup.

    Yes my backup was from an earlier version of WordPress.
    You mean it’s ok to press “Update wordpress database” Button, Nothing bad will happen right? this update wont effect my site?

    Hi,

    Yes, go ahead and try it.
    Make sure you have a backup of the site too. Just in case.

    in my case.. do you know what’s the exact edit the wordpress does to the DB?
