That’s a valid concern.
But whether it breaks your theme or not, you need to update the database before you can continue to work on the site, because WordPress itself has changed since you created that backup and REQUIRES this database upgrade. There’s no way around that.

The only way to get into the dashboard to work on your site is to click the link to update the database, as I mentioned earlier.
You’re using the freely distributed Hestia theme, which was updated as recently as April 19, 2021. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work with the latest version of WordPress.

Updating the WordPress software or upgrading the WordPress database will not change the publication date of any content on your website.
