    Hi,

I used ZBS from way back, upgraded to Jetpack CRM, then deactivated it for a bit whilst I was tweaking my site. I reactivated it and I get the following message:

This version of Jetpack CRM (5.1.0) requires an upgraded database (3.0). Your database is using an older version than this (2.53). To use Jetpack CRM you will need to install version 4 of Jetpack CRM and run the database upgrade.

When I go through the KB at https://kb.jetpackcrm.com/knowledge-base/upgrading-database-v3-0-migration/ I find that there should be a button ‘go to update’ to start the update routine, but this isn’t present. Further, when I go Jetpack > My Jetpack > CRM “Manage”, I get the error message “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” despite the fact that I am the full administrator of my site.

What should I do to fix this? If I remove and reinstall the plugin will it help? If I do so, would I lose my old data?

    Many thanks for any insight.

After some searching, I found the old version 4, downgraded to that, upgraded to the latest, thus solving the issue.

It would have been ideal if the error message had the location of the old versions as finding them took the most of the time.

    Hi @minxymoggy,

I’m glad to hear that the issue was resolved! Thank you for sharing that downgrading resolved the issue.

While the error message Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page could indicate a number of different server/database permission issues (https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/sorry-you-are-not-allowed-to-access-this-page-error-in-wordpress/), our knowledgebase article on upgrading database could be improved to include troubleshooting steps for cases like this.

Thank you again for the report!
