I have updated the WooCommerce plugin to version 9.9.4. After that, a notice appeared saying that WooCommerce has been updated and a database update is required.

However, every time I click the link to update, I get the following error: The link you followed has expired.

Then, when I go to WooCommerce → Status → Tools and click the “Update database” button, it doesn’t trigger any action.

I also tried deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce and switching to a default theme like Storefront, but the update button still doesn’t work.

When I check WooCommerce → Status → Scheduled Actions, I see that the woocommerce_run_update_callback action has a “Failed” status. However, there is no “Run” or “Run Now” button available next to it, so I can’t manually trigger the update.

I’m leaving my Woocommerce status report here:

  • Hi @laysdequeso,

Thank you for the thorough explanation — it’s clear you’ve put in a lot of effort to get things working, and I truly appreciate that.

I’ve reviewed your system status report, and it looks like your database is already up to date.

If you’re still seeing a notice prompting you to update the database, it may be due to cached content. Please try clearing both your browser cache and your site cache, as this can sometimes cause outdated notices to persist.

Additionally, go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools, and clear the transients and template cache from there as well.
