Databasing in WP

    Hey all!
    I have made a database using mysql and I have a PHP addon in my wordpress page. For some reason when I try to insert into the DB from my wordpress page the information doesn’t insert. Is there a way I should be doing this? Im using HTML Inputs and PHP to mess with the DB.

    Im sorry I just noticed I wasnt very clear. I am using an external database and for some reason cannot insert the form variables (or any value) into the database
