DataTables defaults object input keeps vanishing

    Hi

    I’m finding using this plugin extremely confusing.

    When editing DataTables defaults object in Settings, sometimes my code just vanishes. It seems like if I enter an incorrect bit of code it all just vanishes instead of throwing an error?

    Also do you have a link to a comprehensive list of changes I can make in DataTables defaults object? I found this https://datatables.net/reference/option/ but I’m trying to find something that will center the text in a column but haven’t found anything after 20 minutes of Googling.

    That’s correct. You must enter valid JSON.

    I’m trying to find something that will center the text in a column but haven’t found anything after 20 minutes of Googling.

    Have you tried CSS?
