Datatables error in AAM

I’m struggling with AAM pretty much not working from an Admin panel point of view. Every time I got to the AAM page I get the error show in the screenshot at the link below:

The list of roles then doesn’t load (sometimes does though) and I can’t really do anything with it.

Any ideas please? It’s killing me.
