Date Display Problem

    Hello,

    This is a superb plugin I must say. But, I guess this does not refresh the date display. The date display in my site still shows the day old date. When I manually clear the cache, it refreshes and shows the current time. So, if I set a cache timeout say once a day, does it mean that the entire cache will be cleared and the date will refresh itself?

    Exactly 🙂 If you can’t see the date change, Browser caching could cause this issue. You can clear your browser cache and look at again or you can use http://hidemyass.com/

    Hi Kalyan Brata Das, did you delete the browser cache as well? Just out of curiosity.

    Yes, I keep clearing the browser caches everyday but it does not work until I click ‘Delete Cache’ inside WP Fastest Cache Admin area. I have set Cache Timeout as Daily. I just set it yesterday, so I’m not sure if that’s working or not. This is my server time:

    Server time: 2014-03-20 08:14:55 & the Next Due shows 21-03-2014 @ 07:03 inside the WP Fastest Cache ‘Cache Timeout’ Options.

    The Concerned Domain is http://www.dainikjanakantha.net/

    You can see the English Date display at the header. The date is fetched using this code snippet <?php echo date('l jS F Y'); ?>

    But we don’t need to wait until tomorrow. You can set hourly and we can see. Now I set it for my site too.

    By the way, there was an iota of overstatement in reviewing this wonderful plugin. I believe everyone out there using WP feels the same but maybe they are not expressing their feelings in proper words. Really a A1 plugin with a premium support 🙂 what more we can expect?

    Hi aganin Kalyan, now I tested it again and I realized that I have tested v 0.7.9.5 🙂 in the v 0.7.9.7 there is no problem with this feature. It works properly. Can you check your error_log files please? Maybe there is some line which can tell us the source of the issue.
