    Hi,

I’m tring the plugin, so far seems to be pretty nice!
However, althought I connected the google sheet correctly and it works just fine.. I cannot make the “Additional Submission date feature” to work no mater how.

Tried “date, Date, DATE” even putting it in the first row as shown, but stil… it won’t work.
Even tried “fecha, Fecha, FECHA” as my wordpress and plugin are in spanish (You never know)

But.. had no luck with showing anything on those fields, V1.0.9

Any help would be appreciated on what I might be doing wrong or if it’s a bug.

    Hi @gatoo
Thanks for trying out the plugin and for your kind words!

Regarding the “Additional Submission Date” feature — this is not a bug. In the latest version, we’ve enhanced the Date & Time handling and made it configurable through the Form Feed Settings.

👉 Please update to the latest version of the plugin to access these improvements.

Once updated, make sure your form is correctly configured with the updated feed options. You can follow the setup guide here:
🔗 Form Feed Settings – GSheetConnector

To display the submission Date and Time in your Google Sheet, simply enable the corresponding options in the feed settings — no need to manually add column headers like date, Date, or fecha.

Let us know once it’s set up or if you need any assistance—we’re happy to help!

    Best regards,

Thank you for your time Ahmed,

Plugin is up to date, but seems form feed settings date is only enabled for pro.

Don’t get me wrong, seems fair to me. It’s just, in the documentation is stated the lite version has acces to it using the date column headers and it might be good to update said documentation.

    Hi [@gatoo ],
Thank you for your message and for taking the time to check the documentation.

You’re absolutely right to point that out, and I appreciate your feedback. Just to clarify — the Form Feed Settings (including date-related options) are indeed available in the free version of the plugin as well.

I shared the link earlier mainly to show you which tab to look for, using an image as a visual reference — I thought it might help locate the setting quickly.

That said, you can also use date and time values by simply adding the appropriate column headers manually in your connected sheet.

I’ll review the documentation to ensure it’s clearer and accurately reflects the features available in the free version — we will update it for sure.

    Thanks again for your support!

    Best regards,

Hi, Thank you again for your support.

If it helps, it says a lot about you and i’ll be sure to rate the plugin and support with pro in the future as I see if the plugin fits my needs!

That said… I’m still having trouble, if I mark any of the options of form feed settings it just pops up the “its a pro” setting and just resets to nothing. (Including Entry date, which I assume is the timestamp I’m searching for)

I may be reading the documentation wrong, but I really don’t see any other option similar to enable it.

    Hi @gatoo ,

Thank you so much for your kind words and support — we truly appreciate it! We’re glad to hear you’re exploring the plugin and we’d love to help you get everything working as needed.

It seems there might be some confusion around the form feed settings. Let me clarify:

The “Entry Date” and other advanced field mappings you mentioned are part of the Pro version of the plugin — which is why you’re seeing the “Pro feature” popup when selecting them. In the free version, we support basic fields including the date, but it must be manually added.

    To get the date working:

    • Simply add a column in your Google Sheet with the header “date”
    • The plugin will automatically send the submission date to that column.

If things still aren’t working as expected, feel free to continue the conversation through the support ticket you opened at [email protected]. We can guide you further with a quick screenshot walkthrough or even set up a call to assist directly.

Thanks again, and we’re here to help you every step of the way!

    Best regards,
    Ahmed
