In the current version of the Nooz plugin, the press release content pages are the only ones to support a customized date. The news index page, and press release index page have the date hard-coded.
We are updating this for our next release, where all of these pages will accept the custom date format.

@steconte as of v0.5.2, you now can change the date format of both list pages and press-release pages. Additionally, the output now exposes several css classes which you can use in your style.css file to better style content output.
