It appears that since we have updated to WP 5.9, we are no longer able to enter dates, and therefore no new events can be created. Each time we try, we get the error(s):

Your event details are incorrect and cannot be published, please correct these errors first:
Dates must have correct formatting. Please use the date picker provided.

We are running PHP 7.4, and I have tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox, so it does not appear to be a browser issue.

At first I thought I might be able to enter the dates directly into the database to get around this problem, but the date appears in multiple locations and tables, so this is not a reasonable solution.

Any ideas out there? Or do we just need to move onto another event plugin?

I would suggest that you try installing our WP Safe Mode plugin, to rule out whether another plugin or your theme could be causing this. This can be done via the regular plugin installer and searching “WP Safe Mode”. With that, you can test your site with other plugins deactivated and running a default theme such as Twenty Twenty without it affecting your other visitors.

also, did you modify the date picker format under Events > Settings > Formattin > Date/Time > Date Picker Format

    JQuery Date Format: https://api.jqueryui.com/datepicker/#utility-formatDate
