Date – no future data allowed

    On my checkout page, I’m asking buyers to add their birthday. But since the ‘Date’ field could be used for all dates (for instance preferred start date of a subscription), it is possible for buyers to add future dates. With birthdates, that doesn’t make sense. Is there a way how I can prevent people of filling in future dates?

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out to us!

    Sure, to prevent customers from selecting future dates for the birthday field, you can follow these steps:

    1. Go to WooCommerce → Checkout Fields.
    2. Edit the settings of the date field you added.
    3. Navigate to the Advanced tab of that field.
    4. In the Days after field, set the value to 0.
    5. Save the changes.

    This will restrict the selection of future dates for the birthday field. I’ve also attached a screenshot of the settings for your reference:
