Date Options defaults?

Hi, is there a way to change the default selected option in the “Date Options” area? With the latest version of the plugin it always defaults to ‘Keep the date’ but my client wants it to always default to ‘Replace the date’ (I think that was the previous default before a recent plugin update).

Either a global way to set the default, or just having it remember the last thing chosen would work for us. Is this possible? Thank you!
