Date selector for Users not changing

Hello,

I am fairly new to WordPress, my site requires users to enter their birthday so that an age is displayed on their profile. I have managed to add the date selector profile field however it seems to be stuck.

The year values are set at 1920 – 1999 by default. I would like to change this to 1920 – 2004 so users 13 and over can register. Unfortunately I have tried doing this and it has not changed on the register page, WP tells me my settings have saved successfully but this is incorrect.

Could anyone please help me…
