    These sorts of problems usually happen because of jQuery conflicts caused by another plugin or a theme. The only way to be sure is to deactivate all of them at the same time and then reactivate each in turn until you discover which is causing the problem.

    As long as you deactivate plugins, rather than use any uninstall option they may have, you won’t lose settings or data.
